Where To Find Work Camping Jobs

3rd Party Job Forums:

Workamper News is an online resource of jobs specifically for RVers. Employers directly contact the site managers with new listings. Workamper News showcases those jobs and sends out newsletters to its members of new openings. It’s pay for play and the lowest plan is $20/yr for members to receive daily lists, but to review the full list of “hotline jobs” on the website requires an upgraded membership. Upgraded members also have access to their resume builder tools and testimonials from previous workampers. There are a number of other resources to peruse including their magazine archive, podcast, contract tips, and more.

Kamper Jobs is a smaller list of jobs for RVers but the website is extremely easy to use and doesn’t require a login to view jobs. The dropdown menu has a robust filter as a feature. With a free account you can create a resume, get customized job alerts, and save jobs into your dashboard.

Cool Works has a similar user experience feel to Kamper Jobs but expands the list to not just RVers. They focus mostly on resorts that hire seasonal workers consistently each year. Their job filters also include the “type” of jobs, “seasons”, if you need housing, and more. It’s refreshing while scrolling jobs to get a snapshot if the job is seasonal and when the job starts.

Ranch Work is a job board with a focus on ranch work. It’s an extremely easy to use website that lets you filter by the type of ranch job as well as state. As someone new to the ranch life, I appreciate that the job forum lists ALL jobs and simply strikes-through the listings that are no longer available. That’s helpful to get an idea of the market and maybe even a spot that I’d want to check back for in the future when/if they hire again. The downside is that there isn’t a filter for “housing included” or any indication if an RV spot would substitute etc.

Happy Vagabonds offers a newsletter of daily listings as well as a filter by state option for their job board. This is a very difficult site to use due to the heavy amount of ads layered on top of the site, making it almost impossible to use.

Workers On Wheels is a little hard to use as there is no requirement from job posters to list date of hire or even when the job was posted. It’s free to use, so that’s nice.
